At the Counseling and Wellness Center, our main goal is to assist you in successfully maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle. We offer individual and group counseling in a safe, confidential environment, as well as consultation and referral services.<\/p>\n

Accessing Services<\/h2>\n

During the fall and spring semesters, the Counseling and Wellness Center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with evening hours available upon request.<\/p>\n

Our services are free of charge to all full-time students.<\/p>\n

The Counseling Process<\/h2>\n

The decision to begin counseling is an important one. Counselors can help you explore your feelings, thoughts, and concerns, and support you as you work to achieve your desired goals.<\/p>\n

The first counseling session is designed to obtain relevant background information and to identify the specific concerns that led you to seek counseling. At the conclusion of the session, the counselor will discuss appropriate resources and recommendations to assist in resolving concerns.<\/p>\n
