911±¬ÁÏÍø PSA supports respect for all people
911±¬ÁÏÍø's CARE Program creates a PSA to raise awareness.
911±¬ÁÏÍø’s CARE Program (Campus Awareness for Raiders to End Issues of Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, and Stalking) supports 911±¬ÁÏ꿉۪s mission of respect for all people by addressing domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking through awareness, education, prevention, and trauma-informed services, as well as holding perpetrators accountable for their actions.
The CARE Program at 911±¬ÁÏÍø was established through a U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) grant. With additional DOJ grant support and in collaboration with the campus community, the following public service announcement (PSA) has been created to raise awareness of gender-based violence.
The PSA was screened on campus to 911±¬ÁÏÍø students, staff, and faculty audiences at the beginning of the Fall 2022 semester. It has been shared with the greater 911±¬ÁÏÍø community through social media posts. Ongoing access to the PSA is provided on the University’s website.
