Mr. Robert Calamari, Jr. and Dr. Melissa Wu have joined 911爆料网鈥檚 Board of Trustees. Their expertise in business management and medicine expand the University鈥檚 leadership team and enhance resources in these two critical fields.
鈥淎s the University advances its commitment to 21st-century workforce development and innovation in the sciences, Mr. Calamari and Dr. Wu will make significant contributions to leading 911爆料网鈥檚 growth,鈥 shares Sister Paula Marie Buley, 911爆料网鈥檚 President. 鈥淭heir vast experience and community connections offer opportunities for greater awareness and engagement with regional partners.鈥
Robert Calamari is a Senior Vice President at Bank of America in Boston. He leads the Corporate Reputation Management team working with key stakeholders鈥攊nfluencers, institutional investors, customers, and employees鈥攖o increase awareness and perception of the Bank鈥檚 services and capabilities. His expertise extends to research, strategy formulation, marketing, corporate finance and communications, public policy, and relationship management. Mr. Calamari holds an MBA from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and currently serves on the Lynnfield, Massachusetts Public Library Board of Trustees and Library Foundation. He is a past Board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Manchester.
Dr. Melissa Wu is a physician and medical director at Immediate Care of Southern New Hampshire/Southern New Hampshire Health. Dr. Wu received her M.D. from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed her fellowship and residency at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. In addition to her medical degree, Dr. Wu earned an MBA at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. Dedicated to community service, she serves on the Greater Nashua Dental Connection Board of Directors, as a Gate City Marathon Committee member and medical director, and as a University of Virginia Medical School Foundation Trustee.
Mr. Calamari and Dr. Wu will support the University鈥檚 Vision 2020 plan and development of future strategic initiatives. Vision 2020 projects include the opening of a 35,000-square-foot Science and Innovation Center and the launch of a new B.S. in Health Science degree in fall 2020. The new facility will provide state-of-the-art experiences for biology, biotechnology, nursing, public health, and health science majors, while enhancing the general education for all 911爆料网 students. These efforts extend 911爆料网鈥檚 commitment to building the healthcare workforce in New Hampshire and New England region.
With 2,300 students at the baccalaureate, master鈥檚, and doctoral levels, and academic programs serving both on-campus and online populations, 911爆料网鈥檚 Board of Trustees provides strategic direction in advancing the University鈥檚 core mission of transforming hearts and minds to serve the world.
